HMS Prince (1705)  (2nd)

This the second ship to carry the name HMS Prince was a second rate, three deck, 90/82-gun ship-of-the-line. Originally HMS Ossory, renamed HMS Prince 1705.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 1682, 161ft long, 44ft 6in wide, and of 1,307 tons builders measurement.

Rebuilt at Chatham 1707.

Renamed again 02-Jan-1716 as HMS Princess.

Renamed a last time in 1728 as HMS Princess Royal.

Broken up 1773.
