HMS Patrol (1905) CC  (1st)

    
This the only ship to carry the name HMS Patrol was a Scout Cruiser.

Built by Cammell Laird of Birkenhead, laid down 31-Oct-1903, launched 13-Oct-1904, and completed 26-Sep-1905.

On completion joined the Channel Fleet for Special Service 1905-07. Then into reserve 1907-08. Joined the 3rd Destroyer Flotilla at the Nore 1909-10, then the 1st Destroyer Flotilla with the Home Fleet 1910-11. Followed by the 3rd Destroyer Flotilla with the 3rd Fleet.

Into reserve 1912, then based at Haulbowline 1913-14.

Service with various Destroyer flotillas followed, at the Nore 1914, Forth/Tyne 1914-15, Humber 1915-18, Irish Sea 1918 and finally the Nore 1918-19.

Sold 1920 and broken up at Holland.
