This the first ship to carry the name HMS Orlando was a fifth rate, 36-gun, ship.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 20-Jun-1811, 137ft long, 38ft wide and of 876 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from Oct-1819.

Sold Mar-1824 at Trincomalee.
