This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Myrmidon was an M Class, destroyer.

Built by Fairfield, laid down 07-Dec-1939, launched 02-Mar-1942, and commissioned 05-Dec-1942.

Loaned to the Polish Navy Nov-1942 before completion and renamed Orkan.

Torpedoed and sunk 08-Oct-1943 by U-610 south of Iceland.
