This the first ship to carry the name HMS Legion was a Laforey Class destroyer.

Built by Denny, laid down 19-Sep-1912, launched 03-Feb-1914, and completed Jul-1914.

Sold Nov-1921.

Won the Battle Honours: Heligoland 1914 and Dogger Bank 1915.
