HMS Kangaroo (1852) (5th)

This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Kangaroo was a
12-gun, brig. Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 31-Aug-1852, 105ft long, 33ft 6in wide and of 483 tons builders measurement. Armed with 4 x 32pdr guns and 8 x 32pdr carronades. Renamed WV20 25-May-1863 and used for the coastguard service. Sold 10-May-1897.
