This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Jersey was a 7-gun, gondola served on the Canadian lakes.

Built at New York, launched 1776, and of 52 tons builders measurement.

Lost off Valcour Island 11-Oct-1776.

Salved 12-Oct-1776 by the British.

Listed until 1779.
