This the first ship to carry the name HMS Jamaica was a
14-gun, sloop. Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 30-Sep-1710, 65ft long, 21ft 6in wide and of 113 tons builders measurement. Wrecked 09-Oct-1715 at Grand Cayman, West Indies.
