HMS Hogue (1811) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Hogue was a third
rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line. Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 03-Oct-1811, 176ft long, 48ft 6in wide and of 1,750 tons builders measurement (bm). Converted to a composite screw ship of 1,846 tons bm 1848. Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1853 and the Royal Fleet Review 1856. Broken up at Devonport 1865. Won the Battle Honour: Baltic 1854-55.
