This the first ship to carry the name HMS Haughty was a
12-gun, gunvessel. Also known as Gunboat № 31. Built by Cleveley of Gravesend, launched Apr-1797, 76ft long, 23ft wide and of 169 tons builders measurement. Sold May-1802.
