Wooden Paddle Frigate 6-gun

    
This the second ship to carry the name HMS Gladiator was a 6-gun, wooden paddle frigate.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 15-Oct-1844, 190ft long, 37ft 6in wide and of 1,190 tons builders measurement. Armed with 2 x 110pdr and 4 x 10in guns.

Broken up Mar-1897.

Won the Battle Honours: Baltic 1854 and Crimea 1854-55.
