This the only ship to carry the name HMS Gerrans Bay was a Bay
Class frigate. Built by Smith's Dock, launched 14-Mar-1945. Renamed HMS Surprise 1945 and used as a despatch vessel. Arrived at Bo'ness for breaking up, 29-Jun-1965.
