| This the first ship to carry the name HMS Gallant was a 
		12-gun, gunvessel, also known as (Gunboat No 29). Built by Pitcher of Northfleet, 76ft long, 22ft wide and of 169 tons builders measurement. Armed with 2 x 24pdr guns, and 10 x 18pdr carronades. Sold Oct-1802.
