This the fourteenth ship to carry the name HMS Ferret was the
name ship of a class of two torpedo boat destroyers. Built by laird, laid down , launched 09-Dec-1893 and completed . Spent her service life in home waters. Selected for experiments with shrapnel shells 1908. Dismantled at Chatham 1910 and the hulk sunk as a target 1911.
