HMS Emperor of India (1914) BB  (1st)

    
This the first ship to bear the name HMS Emperor of India was one of four Iron Duke Class battleships.

Built by Vickers and launched 27-Nov-1913.

Served with the Grand Fleet throughout WW1. At Jutland she sustained no damage.

After the war she served in the Mediterranean from 1919 to 1926. Then with the Atlantic Fleet until 1929.

Sold 06-Feb-1932 and broken up at Rosyth.
