Gunvessel 12-gun

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Conquest was a 12-gun, gunvessel.

Built by Brindley of Frindsbury, launched Jul-1794, 75ft long, 21ft wide and of 147 tons builders measurement. Armed with 10 x 18pdr carronades and 2 x 12 pdr guns.

Sold 30-Apr-1847.
