HMS Association (1696)
2nd Rate 90-gun 

    
This the only HMS Association was a 2nd rate, 90/82-gun, ship-of-the-line. 

She was built at Portsmouth Dockyard, ordered 1695, launched 1696, 165ft long on the deck, 133ft 6in long in the keel, 45ft 4in wide and 18ft 3in depth in the hold.

She carried 90-guns in time of war at home, with a crew of 680 men. Or 82-guns and a crew of 500 men in peace or war overseas.

Wrecked 22-Oct-1707 off the Isles of Scilly.

Won the Battle Honour: Vigo 1702.
