Sloop 28-gun

    
This the first ship to carry the name HMS Arrow was a 28-gun, sloop.

Built by Hobbs of Redbridge, launched 1796, 128ft 6in long, 30ft wide and of 386 tons builders measurement. Armed with 28 x 32pdr carronades.

Captured the 24-gun Draak off Vlie 12-Sep-1799, then the 24-gun Dolfijn 15-Sep-1799

Captured by two French frigates off Gibralter, 04-Feb-1805.

Won the Battle Honour: Copenhagen 1801.
