This the first ship to carry the name HMS Armada was a third rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built by Blackburn of Turnchapel, launched 22-Mar-1810, 176ft long, 48ft 6in wide and of 1,749 tons builders measurement.

Sold 27-May-1863.
