Arabis Class (1915) SL

The 36 ships of the Arabis Class were the third sub-group of Flower Class (1915) minesweepers to be constructed under the Emergency War Construction Programme.

They were ordered in July-1915 in three batches. (An additional 8 ships were constructed by British yards for the French Navy.)

All had triple hulled bows which gave extra protection while sweeping. All were launched between late 1915 and May-1916.
