Active Class (1911) CC |

| The
three ships of the Active Class (1911) were Scout Cruisers, near repeats of
the Blonde Class (1910). Part of the 1910 and 1911 construction programmes.
HMS Amphion was the first Royal naval loss of WW1. The other two ships both took part in the battle of Jutland and survived the war and were sold shortly after the war ended.
