HMS Zenith (1944) DD  (1st)

     
This the only ship to carry the name HMS Zenith was a Z Class (1944), destroyer.

Built by Denny, laid down 19-May-1942, launched 05-Jun-1944, and commissioned 22-Dec-1944.

On completion joined the Home Fleet and spent the rest of the war on either Russian convoy escort duty or Norwegian carrier raids.

Sold May-1955 to Egypt, and renamed El Fateh.
