This the third ship to carry the name HMS Scimitar is the name
ship of a class of two fast patrol craft. Originally MV Grey Goose built by Halmatic of Southampton, for service in Northern Ireland, bought Nov-2002 and renamed HMS Scimitar to serve as part of the Gibraltar Squadron. In service Mar-2012.
