Wooden Screw Sloop 11-gun

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Peterel was a wooden screw sloop.

Built at Devonport Dockyard, launched 10-Nov-1860, 160ft long, and of 913 tons builders measurement. Armed with 1 x 40pdr, 6 x 32pdr and 4 x 20pdr guns.

Used as a coal hulk from Dec-1885.

Sold 1901.
