This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Peacock was a
composite screw gunboat. Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 22-Jun-1888, 165ft long, 30ft wide and displacing 755 tons. Armed with 6 x 4in guns. Sold 15-May-1906.
