This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Pandora was a sixth rate, 24-gun, ship.

Built by Adams & Barnard of Deptford, launched 17-May-1779, 114ft 6in long, 32ft wide and of 520 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked 28-Aug-1791 on the Great Barrier Reef, Australia.
