HMS Magicienne (1889) CC  (4th)

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Magicienne was a 2ns Class, Protected Cruiser.

Built by Fairfield of Govan, laid down 10-Aug-1887, launched 12-May-1888 and completed 1889.

On completion went to the Cape Station 1890-91, then the America & West Indies Station 1891-96. Returned to the UK at Devonport 1896-97.

Returned to the Cape Station 1897-1901. Returned to the UK and went into reserve at Devonport 1901-04. Paid off 1904.

Sold 1905.

Won the Battle Honour: South Africa
