HMS Cherokee (1774) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Cherokee was a 6
gun, armed ship. Bought Sep-1774, 76ft long, 8ft 6in wide and of 177 tons builders measurement. Renamed HMS Despatch Apr-1777 and used as a transport. Sold 27-Feb-1783.
