This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Chaser was a
patrol vessel and training boat. Built by Fairey Marine of Southampton, launched 1983. Formed part of the Cyprus Squadron for patrol and harbour protection duties. Then allocated as University Royal Naval Unit (UNRU) for Aberdeen University. Sold to Lebanon Nov-1991. Left Portsmouth 24-Aug-1992 and renamed Beirut 1993.
