HMS Bridgewater (1744) (4th)

This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Bridgewater was a
sixth rate, 24-gun, ship. Built by Rowcliffe of Southampton, launched 13-Oct-1744, 112ft long, 30ft wide and of 500 tons builders measurement. Beached and burned 28-Apr-1758 at Cuddalore to avoid capture by the French.
