This the first ship to carry the name HMS Boreas was a fir-built, sixth rate, 28-gun, ship.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 29-Jul-1757, 118ft long, 34ft wide and of 587 tons builders measurement.

Sold 29-Jun-1770.

Won the Battle Honours: Louisburg 1758 and Havana 1762.
