HMS Arabis (1940) Corvette  (2nd)

     
This the second ship to carry the name HMS Arabis was a Flower Class (1940) Corvette.

Built by Harland & Wolff, launched 14-Feb-1940.

Loaned to the US Navy 30-Apr-1942. Returned to RN control 1945 and renamed HMS Snapdragon.

Sold 1946 for mercantile use and renamed Katina, renamed again as Tewfik 1947.

Won the Battle Honour: Atlantic 1940-42.
