This the only ship to carry the name HMS Alamein was a Battle Class (1944), destroyer.

Built by Hawthorne Leslie, laid down 01-Mar-1944, launched 28-May-1945, and commissioned 21-May-1948.

Arrived for breaking up 01-Dec-1964.
